    Good post.

I don't record streaming audio - too much trouble.

I do use the much maligned RealPlayer to allow me to pause these streams when I need to and restart where I paused. This neat feature, PerfectPlay, allows one to cache streams for up to 12 hours of content.

I'm looking for streaming audio recording software that will let me schedule a time to record.
I have a family member that DJs a show in the middle of the night that I'll never listen to live.

I've found a couple, but haven't been thrilled. Free is always a plus. Thoughts? Leads?

Downloaded and listening in under a minute (give or take). I love the fact that not only can I record but you can see the title of what's playing at the top. Excellent program. Thanks for posting it.

@Mike: You can try Orb (http://orb.com), it's a little overkill for what you want to do, but one of its features allows you to schedule the recording of iRadios, including Custom Channels you can define yourself if it's not in their list.

This is a great program, works great. I have one question though… whats that skin called?

Great little app. I've been using Screamer Radio but this is just a bit more polished and seems to work very well. I like that it is available as a portable app too. Good recommendation.

Ver 2 is out now. Still no way to put in login info for the Live365 stations it lists meaning you can't actually listen to them.

This is nothing short of great. I have been wishing for something on this order for quite a while.
Unfortunately, I currently have my Windows machine (an old Dell Dimension 3000) torn down for overhaul and modding.
If any one knows of similar apps for Linux, and specifically Ubuntu, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks, Richard.
