Cool Audio Player Spider 2.0

Since my anti-iTunes rant, I have been trying out different audio players.  I have been using Foobar2000 for a few months now and it has been pretty solid for me so far.  I have come across a new player to try out called Spider 2.0 which seems quite promising so far.  Where a lot of players EQ presets sound less than desirable, Spider 2.0 impressed me.  Of course you can always set the EQ manually for perfect tweaking.  There are a number of skins available from their website as well.  Spider 2.0 basic is free and does the only function not available is converting or ripping multiple tracks at once.  If you need to rip more than one track at a time you can upgrade to the pro version.

This player is great!  There is NO lame nagging splash screen asking you to upgrade every time you launch the player. This is a full featured audio player which will rip and covert you current files.  A good selection of options and the sound quality (most important) is extremely impressive.

Spider 2.0 is able to play audio in several formats including — MP1, MP2, MP3, MP4, M4A, MPC (MP+, MPP), AAC, aacPlus, AC3, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, Ogg FLAC, TTA, APE, WavPack, Speex, WAV, CDDA, WMA, MID, RMI, KAR, S3M, XM, MOD, IT, MO3, MTM, UMX
