• Open-source history: See Multics source code - MIT has released the source code to a predecessor to Unix.
• Unofficial Windows XP Themes Created by Microsoft - 3 XP themes that are better on the eyes than the Playskool inspired ones included by default.

Misc.

• Canadian Police Tolerates Piracy For Personal Use - I know quite a few people who are happy about this.
• How Accurate is the Dollar? - A look at how close the buildings on the backs of US Dollars are to the actual things.

• Stop Writing for Digg - Getting on the front page of Digg really isn't everything.
• Taking Control of Image Rollovers - A few neat techniques for image rollovers with CSS.
• There are not 13 root servers - Apparently it is but a myth that there are 13 root servers. There are hundreds if not thousands.
