Where Did the How-To Geek Logo Come From?

My friend Daniel asked me last night where the Geek logo came from, so I started digging around for the originals to share.

About 15 years ago, I drew a short-lived comic strip called Beepus and Tweeber. I don't have a picture of Tweeber, but here's a picture of Beepus from 1992.

Last year when I started How-To Geek, I pulled out the drawing of Beepus and turned it into the geek we're all familiar with:

Inspired by the current set of Keyboard Ninja articles, I decided to start making some new Geek drawings.
