19 remotes for your Home Entertainment System

CEPro has compiled a slide show of 19 really cool remotes for your home entertainment system.  They all have one thing in common: EXPENSIVE!!!

I personally use the Harmony ONE remote.  It wasn't cheap at $249 retail + tax, but I like the form factor, the charging station, and most importantly the fact that I can organize remote functions by activity so that my wife and kids only have one button to touch for anything they want to do, without having to use multiple remotes or even hit more than one key on the remote itself.

Even cooler, they come with a really simple and intuitive web application which walks you through programming the remote.  I had some pretty old stuff in my mix of components, but the software had the right codes.  Pretty cool.

As nuts as I am about Home Entertainment (and digital media), I don't think I'll ever be able to purchase the $1300 remote from Philips, no matter how many features it has.

But who knows?
