I'm in the middle of writing my first post around getting started (or evaluating) Vista Media Center when I see this post on CNET regarding the consolidation of Microsoft's 3 key divisions in this area:  IPTV, Media Center and HD DVD.  So I had to post a short note about it. 

It's definitely not the first time they have changed their approach.  Let's see if this move helps them address any of the problems I'm planning to talk about in the next few weeks
